The Poltava Ensemble is humbled to represent Canada and Ukraine internationally on stage!
This October, the vibrant and talented Poltava Ensemble will be embarking on a memorable journey to Mexico to perform a repertoire of breathtaking music and dance that celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine. The performances will take place each evening over the course of one week, October 7-11, 2025, and are set to captivate audiences with the beauty, energy and spirit of Ukrainian cultural traditions.

As you may know, cultural exchange plays a vital role in fostering understanding and unity across borders. These dancers and musicians are not only ambassadors of Ukrainian culture but also of Canadian values, showcasing the diversity and artistic excellence that makes our community so special. Their participation in this event will leave a lasting impact on audiences in Mexico, while elevating the reputation of Ukrainian and Canadian artistry.
Organizing such a trip, however, comes with significant financial challenges. Each of the performers pay for their airfare, however the costume shipping, musical equipment rental, cultural programming, and numerous other expenses are funded through donations and other forms of fundraising. We are seeking financial contributions to help cover these expenses and make this opportunity a reality for the Poltava Ensemble members that have chosen to participate in this adventure.
